we know, sometimes there is confusion. and sometimes there is wonder.
for such moments, behold: a little question and answer section

who runs this show?
all back breaking labor is performed by lex candybandit, with moral support and occasional stamp-licking provided by the polish wonder.

i've noticed you have ads at the top of the page. are you making money off this?
no! no! no! postqueer is strictly an anticapitalist venture. the ads at the top of the page exist as an exchange for free hosting from the giant supercomputers in the sky. everything else - postage, printing, time and energy - comes right out of our pockets. they are not very deep.
that said, if any sugar daddies and/or mommas want to sponsor the postqueer project with $1 or $100, get in touch!

wait, how does this work again?
you make a postcard: image/text on one side, stamp and
postqueer address on the other. drop it in the mail and pray the post office does its job.

can i make more than one?
yes! you could a dozen every single day. will you?

can't i just send you an image and have you print it?
no. postcards, please. we like the war-torn look that only the postal service can provide.

..but i'm not an artist. what then?
we're not looking for high art. nobody is judging the submissions. we just want stories, ideas, experiences, struggles, and triumphs, in whichever form they come. words or images. pencil to paper. heart to brain to hand

why does it take so long for you to answer emails?
we are not robots. there are a lot of messages that land in the postqueer mailbox, and lex can only type so fast.

can you send me postqueer cards or flyers to pass out to friends or drop off at queer-friendl
y venues?
yes! we'd love to see postqueer cards and flyers saturate the world! however, we receive innumerable requests, and the supplies are limited.
as such, our general rule of thumb is that you must send a submission before we send you cards or flyers.
if you send us a postcard first, let us know what to look for!
there are a few exceptions to this rule, the most notable of which is if you represent some sort of organization (ie., a community center, artspace, band, venue, zine, etc).
